Gluten Free Saver

Hello, Blogging World!

It’s been a year and a half, but I have returned. Laziness took a toll on my blogging but no more!

Recently I’ve become a runner. I am running the More/Fitness Women’s Half Marathon in the Big Apple of NYC in April, followed by the Pittsburgh (full!!) Marathon in May. Through this training, I have learned a lot about myself and what being a gluten free athlete means (more on this later)

What I found recently, though, is a small answer to some of the challenges we face eating gluten free: the price and finding good products. Let me introduce you to Gluten Free Saver. This is like Groupon goes Gluten Free. With special deals on gluten free products you can not only save money, but discover some products that maybe you didn’t know about before.

Yesterday, I purchased two deals. The first for Rise Protein+ Bars. As a runner, I’m constantly in search for protein bars for my workouts. With five ingredients or less, I was really excited to find a protein option that is not only gluten free, but also fee of chemicals and crap that can be found in many other protein options.

The second was for Purely Elizabeth. From here I bought granola and a muffin mix. Does anyone else love granola? Especially in yogurt?? Because I do, and have been really frustrated with being unable to find GF granola, especially at a decent price.

When you go gluten free you realize just how important it is to know what’s going in your body. With chemicals and hiding gluten, its nice to be able to have a place you can go to find products you can trust. I’m excited to receive these products, expect to hear more when I do!
